Abstract
The southern hybridization technique with biotinylated synthetic oligomers, telomeric repeat sequences probe (TTTAGGG)_n/(CCCTAAA)_n confirmed the existence of the Arabidopsis-type telomeric repeat sequences in the diffused-centromeric chromosomes of Drosera falconerii. Fluorescence in situ hybridization using telomeric sequence repeats indicated diffused signals in somatic chromosomes at interphase and mitotic prophase and metaphase.
