Description
Microwave radar cannot detect the target beyond line of sight on the curve surface of the earth under normal condition of propagation. On the contrary, HF surface wave radar can detect the target beyond line of sight by mean of HF surface wave propagation along the earth's surface, This paper describes experimental result of defection of the ship target using FMICW HF surface wave radar.
