Description
This presentation is a summary of a series of our works on wideband mobile radio systems.We propose a very simple channel model(=equivalent transmission path(ETP)model)for assessing digital transmission characteristics such as BER due to intersymbol interference(ISI)or cycle slip in Nakagami-Rice frequency-selective fading environments.The validity of the ETP model has been confirmed through computer simulations.New formulae predicting BERs due to ISI and cycle slip are introduced.Based on the model,we pursue a general concept which will be a bridge connecting propagation study and system study.
