Description

MUSE signal processing LSI has been developed for the 2nd genaration MUSE decoder.The functions of stationary picture interframe interporation and most of moving picture signal processing which consisted of 7 LSI′s in the 1st generation have b een integrated in a single chip.The coefficient modification of moving picture signal processing filter and by using moving picture transient circuit which function designed for is additionally the 2nd generation MUSE decoder has improved moving picture quality.Furthermore,by the modification of moving picture signal processing filter circuit and by the employment of the upgrade of manufacturing process,the power consumption has been decreaced.As a result,the chip can be housed in plastic package.
