Description

In this paper, simple secure image coding algorithm for still images is proposed. The proposed secure image coding is performed during compression process using Wavelet transform. In the case that secure image coding is not needed, raster scanned prediction errors are transformed to binary data. On the other hand, in the case that secure image coding is needed, prediction errors are scrambled using improved Space Filling Curves instead of normal raster scanning. Strength of security and coding ratio is also discussed with simulation results.
