Description
In this paper, we propose a new concept of handling multimedia information such as hypermedia. The concept is called BookWare. The current hypermedia system treats hyperlink as homogeneous. In real world, a book is used to express the same topic information, and a bookshelf suits personal preference expression. BookWare system provides various interface to manage relations between information. The architecture of BookWare consists of acquisition, transformation and presentation layer. We discuss book and bookshelf metaphor interface based on BookWare. We describe also about the application of BookWare.
