Abstract

自然と触れ合いながら遊ぶ機会が少なくなった今日において、幼児が1日の大半を過ごす幼児施設の遊び空間の拡がりをもつ園庭は、自然と向き合いながら生きるための力を育てる貴重な場と考えられる。園庭は地形、規模、形態、素材など環境構成要素により様々な特徴を示し、本論は築山を中心とした中庭形式、砂地形式、グラウンド形式をもつ保育園を調査し、主体的、創意工夫のある多様な遊びを展開するための遊び環境の基礎資料を得た。
