Description

This report is to introduce a newly developed flyback converter with power factor control, utilizing 2 transformer system. In this system, a condenserless flyback converter and a conventional flyback converter are connected in series, and the circuit has a main common switch. Its simple structure makes possible to use existing components with one main switch operation, offering low cost power factor control circuit. The following is the result of operation analysis made by using switching power supply analysis simulator SCAT K.421.
