Description
A current-mode current-tree A, D converter(ADC),suitable for low- supply-voltage,high-speed,low-power-dissipation operation,has been newly proposed.The current tree ADC is able to operate at low supply voltage maintaining high speed,compared with a voltage mode ADC.The current tree ADC,taking full advantage of its tree structure,is superior to a conventional current mode ADC in speed and power dissipation.A 1.5-V 8-bit 20-MHz current tree ADC is designed by using 0.5-,μm CMOS process technology.The techniques f or low-supply voltage,high speed,low-power dissipation on the current tree ADC,are described.
