Description

A method of managing electronic mail by an object-oriented database is proposed. Object-oriented databases offer an effective data model and a function of management for multimedia electronic mails. The aim of our research is to build an electronic mail system sharing messages without duplicated data. In the present paper a method of managing message body without duplication, relating messagesby reply, modeling of messages, and managing instances by instancefolder for message management are proposed.
