Description
Aonishi et al. previously proposed the eye movement model based on non-uniformity of the receptive fields in visual systems. Their model was designed for handling only line drawing on a white background. We propose a new model that can handle half-toned images taken by a CCD camera. We modified the ganglion cells that detect contrast from the input image, and feature extractioning unit which extract edges and bend-of-lines. By this modification, our model can scan these feature points on half-toned images.
