Description

The natural frequencies of pre-twisted thick plates are determined by using isoparametric finite element method. The method i based on a three-dimensional finite elements by considering the strain-displacement relations of pre-twisted plates. Numerical results are compared with the available ones in the literatures. The comparison shows the method presented in this paper to be useful for analyzing the free vibration of pre-twisted thick cantilever plates.
