Description
PPL is a user-level thread library with parallelism and portability. Previous version of PPL, however, is not considered with scheduling policy. In order to modify the current scheduling policy or to add a new scheduling policy, the most part of source code must be modified. A scheduler module which is independent from other part of PPL allows scheduling policies to be easily implemented. This paper discusses issues with the scheduler module and describes examples of implementation of scheduling policies on it.
