Description
The Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) equation of the model of squid giant axon is the representative and the core model among various HH-type models of neurons or other cells. The HH equation is clearly demonstrated to show various oscillation phenomena by simply changing its time constants. The bifurcation structure of the equation is analyzed in detail using the AUTO program to clarify the generation mechanism of the complex oscillation patterns.
