Description
Analysis models considering soil-pile-structure interaction are more applicable to verify structure safety of buildings including foundation structures more exactly. By means of these analysis models, parametric studies (static nonlinear push-over analyses) were executed paying special attention to the scale of buildings, the ground characteristics and the type of piles. The results obtained by the conventional fix foundation models and the pile models without superstructures were compared. Then, stress and deformation of pile foundations and footing beams by the proposed models were more accurate and more practical.
