Description

Thermopaint is the one method to characterize the heat changings of steel materials. We can use the method to check the heat changings with color changing of thermopaint. But there is no report for it actively. In this paper, we study the welding condition management with thermopaint. Especially we studied the relation with discoloration distance of thermopaint and heat input and interpass temperature with welding experiments, and we analyzed. As results, we can estimate the discoloration distance with the themopaint with enough accuracy.
