Description
We are developing a broad band optical parasmetric amplifier for the purposes of time gating and amplification of broad band light. 100 THz broad band four-wave mixing OPA has been succeeded in 10 mm-thick CaF2 crystal. We use 800 nm fundamental wavelength of Ti:Sapphire Laser(pulsewidth:100 femtosec) as a pump source. This kind of broad band amplication is available by means of low dispersion of CaF2 crystal and angular dispersion compensation of signal beam using non-collinear phase-matching technique.
