Description
This study is on the form experiment for product design by NC Heat-cutting machine through revolving cut of foam polystyrene. This announcement proves that an asymmetrical cutting characteristically made by NC Heat-cutting machine produced some unique patterns of wavy form by changing the speed of turntable. Here I applied the functional and formal features of wavy facets to designing a chair. However these asymmetrical waving forms suggest a more possibility in developing basic design ability as well as in realizing the form orientated function in industrial products.
