Description
In a conventional sensor network, a management node such as a sink node collects sensing information, and carries out applications implemented according to the information. However, if some applications are carried out in the target environment, the management node does not have to collect information, but each actuator node autonomously collects and processes the information to carry out the application. Furthermore, it is only necessary to collect data of sensor nodes that are concerned with the application, and we have these nodes be grouped together. In this case, we propose a protocol to collect the sensing data efficiently, and demonstrate in the experiment that actuator node is able to collect the information and amount of information in the network is decreased.
