Description
A Mathematical expression for the curves of stress-strain relations of metals under repeated or cyclic loading is proposed. Menegotto-Pinto model is adopted as the mathematical expression. At first, the basic characteristics of the material constants involved in the model is investigated. As the result, it is clarified that the constants can not be treated as real material constants. They are some functions of stress. Next, the model is applied to SS400 and the constants are fitted to the experimental results.
