We investigated the efficacy and safety of the cream (Curel® Face Cream Effective), in which a synthetic pseudo-ceramide was compounded, on the facial dry skin in patients with atopic dermatitis and xerosis.<BR>The results showed that the skin conditions, especially dry skin, were improved in most cases and its efficacy ratio was 94%. And any side effect was not observed in this cream.<BR>In conclusion, this cream in which a synthetic pseudo-ceramide was compounded was highly effective and safe in atopic dermatitis with dry and low barrier skin.
