Description
Thick films of YBa2Cu3O7−x (e.g. 50 μm thick ×13 mm wide ×45 mm long) with maximum density were prepared by rapid quenching. For the film heat-treated at 950°C in air, superconductivity was realized with an onset temperature of 98 K and zero resistivity of 87 K.
