Description
We experimentally manufactured four links of time synchronizing devices which transmit time signals in DDC in an SDH network to examine their accuracies.Without removing noises, synchronism error was experimentally to be about ±0.36μs on four links.Even if delay variations due to transmissiosn equipment and media are added, an accruracy of the order of microseconds will be obtained.It means that these devices are applicable to new concepts of powersystem protection and control systems.By removing noises of transmission lines and time synchronous devices, time synchronism accuracy would be improved according to noise analysis.
