Description
We mentioned clinical considerations in digital motion pictures(digital fiberscopy, ultrasonic tomogaphy, and injured portion by CCD camera) compressed by MPEG-2. The purpose of this study was to know how much the digital speed might be required to transmite full motion medical pictures on a satellite. The experimental system using CLI MPEG-2 could be changed up to 20 Mbps. The clinical tests were performed by 10 medical doctors at Tokai univ. school of Medicine. The results : ultrasonic tomogaphy might be 1.5 Mbps, digital fiberscopy and injured portion might be 3.0 Mbps.
