説明
It is valuable for the Japanese students to notice that there are three different steps in the learning porocess of the pronuciation of the German letters and works. As the first step, the students may be allowed to make full use of "katakana", the Japanese phonetic letters, to memorize the German rough pronunciation. And, during the very beginnig stage, they may pronounce according to the way "romaji", the transliteration of the Japanese letters in the Roman alphabets, is usually read. As the second step, in many cases the students must pay attention to the difference between German and Japanese pronunciations, and also become aware of the fact that the similarity between German and Japanese pronunciations, and also become aware of the fact that the similarity between German and English pronunciation is no more than approximate. They should certainly get to know the distinction of the German pronunciation of its own. As the third step, the students will be confronted with the difficulty of two kinds of pronunciation in the German vowles, "open" and "close". Especially, in the case of the letter "e", its close sound (the phonetic sign [e:]) is difficult for the Japanese students to pronounce, for they have never experienced this sound in their learning Ebglish, and also they are not accustomed to prouncing close sound vowels in general in their usual Japanese speech. This paper attempts to solve this pronunciation to some extent.
