3 years have passed since the introduction of a mixed class system in the 2007 academic year at Kisarazu National College of Technology.In this system,the 2nd year students from the different major fields of study are placed in a combined and integrated class.This paper,as an interim report,describes the reviews of teachers'opinions on the class management and the results of a questionnaire which was conducted on the students.It also discusses the education effects and future problems of a mixed class system.
