Description
In this report, we propose the multi-Manchester coded PN sequence that is a plural times Manchester coding expansion of PN sequences. Tracking performance and selfnoise property of the Delay-lock Loop for the proposed PN sequences are discussed. Furthermore, performance of Spread Spectrum Clock Rate Modulation (CRM/SS) using the proposed sequence is evaluated. It is shown that the more Manchester coding is expanded the better the static tracking performance is in single user systems. However it is also shown that the increase of the number of users rapidly degrades the demodulation performance of the CRM/SSMA system and that interference canceling is effective in such cases.
