Description
This paper studies the performance of a slow frequency hopping (FH) system using 16-ary quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), which implements high spectral efficiency and high interference immunity,under the cellular mobile communication environment.The bit error rate (BER) of the FH, 1 QAM is calculated for each part of the cell through computer simulations.And it is cleared that, due to anti-interference techniques,the BER performance of the FH/ 160AM cellular system is improved,and service area of that system can be increased.
