The purpose of this research is to explicate and represent changing scenery images of macro-scale landscape between daytime and nighttime, using image processing. We investigate the colors (hue, saturation, brightness) of mountains, sky and buildings, and the composition of them on photo-images, comparing daytime, twilight and nighttime. Then We can represent the process of changing scenery images as change of composition of dark/light regions, and as change of appearance of edges.
