Description
The series resonant dc-dc converter with auxiliary switches has advantages to keep the power efficiency high for the relatively wide range of the load and to prevent the extremely lowering of the switching frequency which 1s caused by the decrease of the load current. The authors previously analyzed the half-bridge type series resonant dc-dc converter with auxiliary switches. This paper presents a unified analysis of half-bridge and full-bridge type series resonant dc-dc converters with auxiliary switches. In which the same equivalent circuit model is used. Analytical results are confirmed by experiments and its usefulness is clarified.
