Description

A parallel-resonant converter with ZVS-PWM control obtaincd by the active clamp techniqoe is examincd. This converter is analyzed by using an AC equivalent resistane of a rectifying and smoothing circuit, and it is clarified that it has an approximately constant current output characteristic. In the experiment, this convener is equipped with a feedback PWM control of integral compensation. As a rcsult, a precisely regulated constant-current characteistic with 1 amp and error lower than O.6% was achieved against the input voltage variation of 30 to 50 volts and the output voltage variation of 0 to 20 volts.
