Description

This paper describes the structure and behavior of an associative memory built on the bases of the various facts in neural science.It is useful to analyze the behavior,illustrating the principles of the model operation,so as to understand the process and mechanism of "communication" as well as "thinking".Th e "communication"used in this paper must be taken in a broad or ge neral sense,including issues such as natural language understanding and semantic recogition,rather than "the in formatio n theory",which avoids semantic issues,by C.E.Shannon.The description also covers the learning effects on the capabilities such as decision making or prediction,and the influence of change of learning environment to these capabilities. In addition,synonym and homonym issues,the recognition process of high level concepts,the hierarchical relations of semantics,and time serial learning with mind switching are discussed.
