Description
A new nonlinear optical crystal, CsLiB6OlO (CLBO), is described, which can be grown from stoichiometric melt and exhibits excelleny UV NLO properties compared with BBO and LBO. In this study, we report on the fourth harmonic and fifth harmonic generation of the 1.064μm Nd:YAG laser radiation with type-I phase matching realized in CLBO crystal. Output pulse energies obtained were 325mJ at 266nm and 80mJ at 213nm. The conversion efficiency from fundamental to 213nm radiation is 〜10%.
