Description

We have fabricated TTF-TCNQ charge-transfer complex films using electric field applied co-evaporation technique and investigated the orientation of the grains and their electrical conductivities. It is found that the grain orientation has a strong dependence on the growth temperature, the evaporation-source-temperature, and the applied electric field. We discuss the temperature dependence of the conductivity and the orientation mechanism of TTF-TCNQ grains to the electric field direction.
