説明
Bovine hemoglobin, which contained 14 arginine residues per 68×103g, had the following seven arginine-peptide sequences in the molecule:
and their concentrations were found to be 2 M per 68×103g, except for Peptide A.
Horse hemoglobin also had a very similar arginine peptide sequences inspite of the great difference in N-terminal sequences.
These results suggest that hemoglobin is a dimer consisting of two similar (or same) monomers.
