Description

A case of 14-year-old girl with thyroid papillary carcinoma is reported. She had cervical tumor with normal euthyroid function. Cold spot was indicated by ^<131>I-scintigraphy, while hot spot at delayed phase of ^<201>T1 scintigraphy on the tumor area. The inclusion body, thermoma body and hypercromatic cells were found in fine needle aspiration cytology. No lymph node metastasis was observed at hemithyroidectomy. No evidence of malignancy after 6 months of surgery was confirmed.
