Description
We showed a low cost (about 200 yen per one roll of 35mm film) developing procedure for color reversal films. The procedure was performed by sequential treatment of films at 28℃ according to following steps. 1. First developer for 13 min, which consists of phenidon 0.6g, hydroquinon 8g, anhydrous sodium sulfite 40g, sodium carbonate monohydrate 46.8g, potassium bromide 2g, sodium thiocyanate 2g, and 0.2% 6-nitrobenzimidazole nitrate solution 15ml in 1000 ml of distilled water. 2. Wash in running water for 5min. 3. Reversal exposure (expose the film under 300-500W flood lump for 1-2min). 4. Color developer (trisodium phosphate 12 water salt 40g, sodium hydroxide 109, benzyl alcohol 5ml, ethylenediamine sulfate 6g, citrazinic acid 2g, and N, N-dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine sulfate 4g in 1000 ml distilled water) for 15min. 5. Wash for 5min. '6. Cleaning bath (potassium metabisulfite 20g in 1000ml of distilled water) for 5min. 7. Wash for 5min. 8. Bleacher (potassium ferricyanide 8Og, potassium bromide 2g, sodium phosphate dibasic 12 water salt 25.3g, and sodium carbonate monohydrate 4g in 1000ml of distilled water) for 8min. 9. Wash for 5min. 10. Fixer (sodium thiosulfate 160g, potassium metabisulfite 10g, and sodium phosphate monobasic dihydrate 11.6g in 1000ml of distilled water) for 6min. 11. Wash for 8min. 12. Stabilizer (formaline 6ml and Driwel(R) or Konidax(R) 1Oml in 1000ml of distilled water) for 1min. 13. Air dry.
