Description
This paper reports performance evaluations for Super Frame (SF) transportation scheme that concatenates short packets to release routers from heavy forwarding processes. An overview of assumed network configuration and simulation model are described, and several obtained data to indicate effectiveness of the scheme are shown. Moreover, we introduce self-similar traffic as multimedia traffic, and evaluate affinity between self-similar traffic and the scheme.
