Description

This document presents the 2 round subjective listening tests of the MPEG-2 AAC stereo audio coding carried out by NHK.The first was carried out on behalf of ISO/IEC MPEG, and the second was carried out on behalf of ARIB.The subjective tests were conducted in accordance with ITU-R Recommen-dation BS.1116. As the results of the tests, AAC main-profile operated at 128kbps/2ch, AAC LC-profile at 144kbps/2ch and AAC SSR-profile at 144kbps/2ch met the ITU-R broadcasting quality.
