Description
We analyzed intermediate typist characterization and compared it and novice typist characterization through the experiment which focused on the intermediate typist. As a result, the keys that are easy to press for intermediate typists same as novice typists, and it is same with the difficult keys. The rate of intermediate typist's errors is lower than novice, and the rate of exchange or insertion errors of intermediate typists is larger than novice. Whereas intermediate typists can quickly press the keys by alternate hands, novice typists can quickly press the keys by one finger compared with alternate hands. In addition, it is easy for intermediate typists to press the keys by right hand compared with left hand. The higher the frequency of a character is, the more quickly it can be typed, however, the higher the accuracy always cannot be typed. In order to raise the accuracy, it is necessary to type with a certain amount of speed. It is possible to propose the useful training method and practice sentences for touch-typing.
