Description

The Nintendo DS is a dual-screen handheld game console developed and released by Nintendo. Because it introduced distinctive new features to handheld gaming such as a touch screen, a built-in microphone, and so on, it has been used not only as a game machine, but also as a teaching material in educational site. In this study, in order to search for the possibility of using the DS at a university, we carried out an investigation concerning English learning DS software. As a result, it has been cleared that both the students who are good at English and those who are not so think learning English using the DS is enjoyable and effective.
