In this paper I examined the change of children's view of music in 2 teaching practice by world music of various folks. The purpose was to prove the effectiveness of the world music as the teaching materials. To accomplish this purpose, the author suggested the viewpoints by analyzing the reports of teaching the world music, and constructed the plan of world music classworks from the viewpoints for the 5th graders. So "music and dance in Eastern European countries" and "Japanese traditional folk music and dance" were selected as the teaching materials. Through the teaching practices the viewpoints were found effective to change and widen the children's view of music.
