Description
In order to treat electrocardiogram quantitatively and to clarify its long-term dynamical behavior, the authors have made an attempt at ECG measurement. By introducing four intervals in an atrial cycle, ECG was approximated by a polynomial in each interval, separately. The coefficient of the polynomials were obtained by applying the least square method. Close agreement was obtained between ECG and the P-, QRS-, T-waves of the polynomial approximation. Further, an interesting relationship was found among the variations of the coefficients in each polynomial.
