Description
What influence the electronic money as payment tools do on the social and economic systems should be investigated from the viewpoint of the payment functions. Any payment tool cannot work well without establishing the social position of commonly acoepted medium of exchange (CAMOE). If a payment tool becomes CAM0E, it gets network externalities which, in turn, push it to the dominant position in the market. Then we try to find strategies of permeating electronic money into the cash-dominant-market by considering the payment functions, especially on transferability, multi-purpose, and finality
