Description

Our service operations systems for advanced Intelligent Network have to keep various and vast history database, such as call history data, fault history data, and complaint handling history data, for supporting service quality control operation and complaint handling operation. Because there are a lot of issues, such as the frequency of query/update transactions, the data backup method, the data recovery method, the table configuration, which we should consider to manage these history data, it is necessary to establish an effective database maintenance method. In this paper we propose a method of maintaining history database for service operations systems.
