Description

We propose an implementation method of software Distributed Shared Memory(DSM)for workstation clusters connected via ATM network. Since ATM network is based on connection-oriented communication, these characteristics are different from existing LANs. We also introduce a speed up technique for sending cells using send buffer cache. Finally, we describe the implementation status of our system and show actual communication overhead of the system.
