説明

In order to evaluate the effect of Tolazoline, Phenoxybenzamine and Chlorpromazine on pulmonary circulation in hypoxic and normoxic dogs, the experimental study was performed. 2 mg/kg dose of each agent was administered intravenously to each six normoxic and hypoxic dogs, and aortic pressure, pulmonary artery pressure, left atrial pressure, cardiac output, systemic vascular resistance and pulmonary vascular resistance were measured. From this research, pulmonary arterial pressure was reduced with the administration of Tolazoline to hypoxic dogs, arid of Phenoxybenzamine to normoxic dogs and of Chlorpromazine to normoxic and hypoxic dogs. Pulmonary vascular resistance was reduced with the administration of Tolazoline to hypoxic dogs and of Chlorpromazine to normoxic dogs. Tolazoline is considered to have a potential action to the pulmonary circulation more than Phenoxybenzamine and Chlorpromazine.
