Description

The ratios which correspond to the integral decibel values are derived from the accidental coincidence 2^<10>〜10^3 in combination with Diophantine equation by simple arithmetic. The relation between the radix and the relative accuracy of a floating point number, the distribution of the most significant digit and the computational complexity of the calculation of Napier's number are also discussed.
