Description
James Parkinson described 6 patients with the shaking Palsy in 1817. The Parkinsonism has 3 main syndromes,namely tremor, rigidity and hypokinesia. Especially about 7O% of the patients have the tremor at their first stages. We investigate possibility to diagnose parkinsoniml tremor with the main frequencies. Physiological tremor, Essential tremor and Parkinsonian trenmor with physical load are measurred by accelerometers and are analyzed by spectorograms. We found the following phenomena in the experiments. 1: The main frquency of PD is found to be 533±1.56, the one of the essential tremor is 6.28±1.33,physiological tremor is 6.77±0.89. 2: By physical loading the main frequencies decrease in the case of essential and physiologial tremor, but the PD frequencies don't change. 3: There is a positive realationship between Yahr's score and the main frquencies of PD patients. Therefore we hope that main frequencies can be use to diagnose parkinsonism with advantage.
