説明
Ponticulus posticus is an bony arch connecting between the superior articular condyle and the posterior arch of atlas, under which vertebral artery and suboccipital nerve pass.^2 In a radiological survey of 307 Japanese patients ponticulus posticus was found in 28 (9.1%) and more frequently seen in males. Age was not the decisive factor regarding incidence. In patients with at least one narrow disc space, the possible occurrence of ponticulus posticus was greater.
